Post WWE Hall of Fame wrestler Mr Wonderful Paul Orndorff dies at 71

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...f-dies-71.html

WWE Hall of Fame wrestler 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff died at the age of 71, his son Travis Orndorff announced Monday.

Orndorff had been suffering from dementia, caused by chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) - brain injury caused by repeated blows to head, his son said.

'Many will remember his intensity. But if I could only get you to understand and see his heart. He will always be Pop, Paw Paw, and Daddy at home,' Travis wrote. '

'And as much as many of you hated him as a wrestler, he absolutely loved you for it. He was an amazing father that showed me more love than I ever deserved. I love you Daddy.'

Orndorff started wrestling in 1976 with Mid-Southern Wrestling.

He went onto join WWE in 1983 and became one of Hulk Hogan's biggest rivals.

At the first ever WrestleMania in 1985, Mr. Wonderful teamed up with 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper to do battle against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T.
