Gorges Whale Harpooned - Monster Patch Card /6!
It has been approximately eight years that I have been chasing a copy of this card. I think I may have seen it pop up once in that time frame. Of all the outstanding Gorges cards made while he was with the Habs this is one of the coolest of the non-1/1's...despite the gruesome and hideous nature of the back of the card. It does bring back some fond memories of that intense period of the Habs/Bruins rivalry though. Four playoffs battles in seven seasons!

Congrats! An older card /6 is almost impossible to find. With great patches of great players showing a great rivalry, that's even better!

With those Teams/Players on this card, it's probably a lot rarer than /6 if you know what I mean. Most copies of this card is going to be locked up in PC's forever. Huge congrats on snagging this white whale for your Gorges PC. It only takes 1 long-awaited card for the hunt to feel good again. Keep plugging away!

Haha yeah probably, and this one did come from Montreal as well, so maybe someone is doing some collection clean-up. Either way I will not complain.
Amazingly my non-1/1 list of needs is now down to 10 - two are those Card Show H&P /10, there's a UD Rookie Ink /6, four multi-player premium swatch cards (all featuring that goalie I also like), a Team Canada High Gloss /10, and two OPC Blank Backs. So yeah, you could say things are getting pretty serious.
