    Authentication Question

Sorry if this has been talked about before or if its in another section but, what Authentication companies do you guys trust and what ones are complete junk? I know PSA, JSA and Beckett are supposed to be the top companies and I have been told Global is untrustworthy. I have seen other companies like I just came across one on eBay called Heritage Authentications. the autographed photo has a sticker that says heritage and a number and I went to the website and the website is like bare bones and it doesn't tell you much when you look up the authentication number.

I know buying autographs on eBay is iffy anyway but, what companies do you guys trust?

    Joe,
I think you are doing fine with the ones you listed. Just do your due diligence and you should be fine. If Global is GAI I bought some of their grading cards but then again it was at a discount as they do not get the big premiums as the other companies. The biggest thing if you truly do your research you will see even Beckett, PSA, JSA, have all let non legit autographs slip thru the cracks. So, tread on the water carefully and do as must research as you have time when making a bigger purchase as those are the ones folks will fake. If your like me and small collector then you usually do not have anything to worry about as the low end stuff is not usually faked.
