Here's mine:
As you've seen me write over and over again, I collect "all time Oilers" autographs. This was a signature that seems to me shouldn't have been too hard to track down, but it was the final signature I needed to complete my autograph collection from 1979-80 through 2015.
I simply could not find a card signed by Bill McDougall (28 NHL games, but a couple of NHL & "major" minor league cards) anywhere.
One of my best "online hobby friends" (we chat regularly, but have never met in person) @primetimepawich knew I'd been searching for a McDougall signature, and found someone on a Swiss auction site who was selling a few (McDougall played a bunch of years in Switzerland). Rather than alerting me to the listings..... he jumped through a bunch of hoops to sign up for the site himself, bought the card, and sent it to.
I was thrilled when a mystery package from him showed up, and this was what was inside.

Never received card as gifts, can’t participate this week :(
I collect game used and autographed cards of Beliveau, Lafleur and Maurice Richard. Can consider other nice Habs cards too.

so several years ago I was able to help a fellow collector who lived in europe and needed to buy some boxes of cards but could not find anyone to ship to him.
I was able to make the purchase and was going to ship them to him and he would pay for the total cost of it all. This trader decided to ask me to open the boxes and just send the rookies and a few players he collected. I was able to keep the inserts and a few gu and we were both happy.
Move forward about 6 month and we were making a trade for this beautiful crosby auto
now we made the trade and when I opened the package he sent I found my card and also this beauty poped out, he was just thanking me for the help before and new I was a Crosby collector
Just awesome how some traders can be.
thanks
