1998-99 Skybox Molten Metal Fusion Michael Jordan #41F
I've been out of the hobby for a long time and recently started trying to find out the values of some of my cards. Anyone want to give their estimate of what the value is of an ungraded 1998-99 Skybox Molten Metal Fusion Michael Jordan card? It's serial # 230/250. I know if it were # 23/250, it would command a premium. Does #230 command a slight premium over other serial numbers? For reference, #130/250 (PSA 8) sold at auction last year for $24,607.20.

I don't think the #230 is going to come with any premium at all. It is tough to give you an estimate on a card when you can't see the card. Do you have a picture of it?

I'll take a couple of pictures when I get home from work and post them. To my very untrained eye, I'd guess it's at least a PSA 7.

You wouldn't think a 230 serial numbering would boost the value of the card. But this is a rare and popular Jordan #D card and crazier things have happened with Jordan cards lately so if you sold it on eBay I wouldn't be surprised if that numbering gave it a little boost.
