Welcome back to another MVP Monday, where we highlight some of the amazing people we have here at Dave and Adam’s. This week we are excited to highlight Leanna Losardo, one of our Customer Service Representatives!
Leanna joined the team at Dave and Adam’s back in June 2020, around the time when the card industry began to boom. When she saw the job posting for the position, she knew it was a great opportunity to work for a homegrown Buffalo company, something that has always been important to her. The potential role at Dave and Adam’s would also allow Leanna to use her sports product degree and customer service skills to connect with customers and give insight into the latest industry trends. All three factors made the decision to join the team easy for Leanna.
Before Dave and Adam’s, Leanna worked as a Sports Product graduate assistant at Canisius College. During her role at Canisius, she helped connect current students to alumni. She also worked for Delaware North delivering food and drinks to people at the club level for every Sabres home game.
Many of Leanna’s hobbies revolve around sports. She loves to play softball and basketball in her spare time. She enjoys watching sports and just recently started collecting cards. One of her favorite products we sell here at Dave and Adam’s that she has purchased is the 2020 archive signature series hobby boxes. Believe it or not, after purchasing one of these boxes she happened to pull a Fernando Tatis Jr auto AND a Mike Trout 1/1. I think it’s safe to say that her collection has gotten off to a good start!
Cards may be new for Leanna, but collecting certainly is not. Leanna has been collecting mystery balls from Buffalo Bisons games for a couple of years now. She boasts that her favorite mystery ball she got was one autographed by Cliff lee! As her mystery collection grows, we hope her card collection does as well.
Leanna is someone who enjoys learning and uses it as a driving force to inspire her to be the best at her job every day. She has been working at DA for over a year and believes there are always new aspects of the job to learn. Whether it’s coming up with creative ideas on how to better connect with our customers or meeting target sales goals Leanna is always looking to improve in her role.
We are happy to have Leanna on our team and we love the fact that she is always willing to grow and learn. Thank you for being our MVP!
