Atlanta Falcons wide receiver was not active in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers due to an personal matter.
We are now learning that Ridley is taking some time away from football due to mental health issues following a statement that was released by the 26-year-old
“These past few weeks have been very challenging and as much as I’d like to be not eh field competing with my teammates, I need to stay away from football at this time and focus on my mental wellbeing,” Ridley wrote on Twitter.

Mental health is a real issue and hard to deal with and I am glad he is taking time away from Football. I have had a lot of issues myself and I understand the need to step away from things.
