That was totally a crazy reaction imo as it was minor contact. It especially nuts since the mother told her kid to hit her according to the new source. Parents truly need to be held accountable if they instruct their children to do stuff like this. I hope she gets punished severely the kid not so much but hey if she is not punished to some degree how many times will she keep doing this. As this would be the 3rd player she has gone after with the intent to injure.

Yeah, I read that. That's why I had to roll my eyes at the family's public response.
For sure it was minor contact. If anything it looked like flopping to me. Sadly, if this girl has enough basketball talent, I'm guessing this will be all overlooked instead of facing some kind of punishment.
