Question ID help on this card

Anybody know what card this is? It shouldn't have blank back like this so I'm thinking it was a promo or sample card but I can't find anything about it. It isn't a misprint since the other one next to it has the same back as well.

I've looked for info and can't find anything either. I think you're on the right track of it being a sample or a proof.

    • It’s not a sample or proof. It’s a misprint. I’ve seen several of these over the years. The back of the card did not receive all the printing design or serial numbered stamping. Not really a big valuable card.
This is just a small sample of what I collect.

Well I can't see it being a misprint because the card is suppose to be blue on the front but it is red. If it was suppose to be purple and was missing the blue it would make sense to have a red misprint but it doesn't really in this case.

I just so happened to check COMC.com again and they have up one like this but of Manny Ramirez. They label it as a red proof. Never saw one on there before and they never sold one before either.
