Anybody else getting geared up for the World Juniors?

One of my favourite times on the hockey calendar is the showcase tournament, and this year is no exception. Roster looks really good with the inclusion of 16-year old phenom Connor Bedard making some headlines.

I'm looking forward to it. Canada's team looks like it should be a good one this year.

As far as future PCs: I'm sure I'll own a Bourgault RC at some point

So far they have cancelled all of the Exhibition games & now that Hockey Canada has withdrawn from the Spengler Cup I am worried this tournament may get cancelled too. They are playing in Edmonton & Red Deer this year i believe & with the shutdown of the NHL in Alberta i wonder if this is even going to happen.
All its going to take is 1 team with multiple positive cases to put this Tournament in jeopardy. Lets hope not.

That was quite the performance! 12 shots on net in 14 minutes of ice time is crazy too.

According to Bob McKenzie the tournament is going to be cancelled today due to the rising cases that have already caused two games to be forfeited.

I have no interest in debating if it should or should not be canceled.

I will say this though: If they were going to cancel the tournament mid-way through because of the cases they have already.... they never should have bothered. Nobody should be asking "how did this happen?" they should be asking "how did nobody expect this to happen?"
