Mvp hockey
Man, just looking at ebay and the new mvp cards. Even a low end product like mvp and key rookies are 10 plus already. I dont remrmber other seasons where mvp rookies had such a premium. Im scared to see what young guns will be right out the shoot.

Well you can buy them on Upper Deck website. The only reason they are high now it the first product out of the gate. Those prices will fizzle and die down as you say when Upper Deck Young Guns come out.

It's wild seeing people asking (and occasionally getting) $50 for a Caufield MVP RC. People are absolutely STARVED for new products. It's two days from being into 2022, and there are as many Tim Horton's products for 2021-22 as there are "regular" UD releases. Looks like CC and Zegras are the hot ones out of the gates.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Not sure about other years but this year's design looks pretty sharp.
Not a YG though so most people don't care.

Long-term they won't, but in the immediate term, in the absence of any other 2021-22 products on the market, it's getting a bump the likes of which any of us long-time vets would never have expected.

Yeah I've never paid attention to this product until this year. A lot of sp parallels, at least this year. Might even grab a box to tide me over!

I would have bought a box or two but there are no Lucas Raymond or Moritz Seider rookies so I passed.

How early fo companies usually need pics for their cards? No kraken? Free agents that moved on there old teams? Seems weak

Caufield MVP rookie for 50$, wow that's a bad deal for the buyer. I think that Price MVP rookie is cheaper.

I don't know what they go for currently but I think I paid like $5 for mine back in the day. We live in weird times.
