    Post Longtime ESPN Reporter John Clayton Passes Away

    Jeff Muzzy, reported personal friend of John Clayton has notified the world via Twitter that he passed away Friday afternoon.

    The longtime ESPN reporter and NFL insider was 67.

    John’s friend and former colleague Chris Mortensen provided some information on social media stating the following –

    “John Clayton passed away today at a Seattle area hospital. His wife Pat and sister Amy were at his side and communicated earlier he passed peacefully after a brief illness,” Chris wrote.

    “We loved John. We are mourning his loss.”

    Clayton’s cause of death is unknown at this time.
