    Anyone submit cards to GMA?

I've bought graded cards but have never submitted any for grading until recently (waiting for them to be graded and returned). I sent them to GMA because of their cost and the fact they've been around for 20 years. They have a negative reputation for some reason, which got me a load of insults on the Blowout forum. The cards I've bought look accurately graded, not just 10s for junk, which many claim.

Have any of you sent cards to GMA? I'm interested in firsthand experiences from folks who have used them. The company has contacted back me when I have questions and they look like a good middle of the road company to me

Everyone is going to give you grief for using anything else than Beckett or Psa for the most part. If your really looking for another one might want to check out the submissions run on here with ISA grading. The price is low as well. What did you pay per card and the turn around time.

It was $10 per card, 20 card minimum, and 95 day turnaround. A lot of what I sent was hockey. I hope prices drop below $10 because I'd like to get some "worthless" junk wax era cards graded of my favorite players, some 90s inserts, and some HOFers. I'll look at ISA though

If you are grading to protect and organize your own collection, then I'd suggest that you choose whatever grading company meets your standards.

If you are grading for investment or resale purposes, I would stick to BGS, PSA or SCG. This may change in the future. Just my two cents.

I know the turnaround time at ISA is a lot lower but $10 a card is nice. As pwskelly said if it for yourself do what fits your collection. I know a guy who collects OSU rookies and he grades 1 of every player no matter how worthless LOL. He grades with PSA so a lot of those rookies will never see a return if your looking at a investment instead of a hobby.
