So turns out Target sent me a blaster of 2021-22 Bowman U Basketball instead of Football. I'm swapping that out in favor of a blaster box of 2021 Panini Chronicles that contain Prestige exclusives. Right now the war chest of prizes contains:

Week 1 Pick Em Thread - tbd

Week 2 Results.

And the season begins anew! 21 people were vying for the crown of Week 1 champion (and 200 Reward Points). Unlike last year where I finished on top after the first game, this week I'm tied for the BOTTOM . However our top point earner was @CMCFan22, congratulations again even if Cleveland prevailed this week.





Picking trends and other musings:
1. Ties are the worst and yet the Colts and Texans saw fit to give us just that.
2. @toddsr is perhaps the bravest picker in the west, he was the only person to call a post-Big Ben Pittsburgh and post-RW3 Seattle victory. Most impressive!
3. Unfortunately, toddsr was too counter culture and wound up on the wrong end of the score sheet this week.
4. @51CardDeck clearly was using the force to see a Giants victory whereas the rest of us assumed King Henry would trample New York.
5. @CMCFan22 was the lone person to pick a long shot to payoff, knowing that a California team wouldn't know what to do with that much water.
6. The safest pick this week was the Ravens grounding the Jets, with 19 picks in favor.
7. It's week 1! No one is out of it where you trail by 3 or by 12.
