They look bad and our closer sucks! Four of the 5 teams in the East lost today! No one is hitting, pitchers looked worn out! Hicks needs to go. I am glad I am on vacation and don't check in everyday!

Yesterday was good for the "BIRDS", with all four of the rest of the A L East losing, they caught up one game on three and the "other" one got one more behind them. Hopefully the "BIRDS" will continue to gain (and hopefully pass) on those "other" A L Easter's that are ahead of them.

Don't think the birds will catch the Yanks, but TB and Toronto are not out of the question. Probably should have held onto either mancini or Lopez.

    Playing pretty good ball.

I am rooting for the Orioles because of Rutschman (he played at Oregon State, near where I live)! I am in Kansas City, MO and I saw that some are going to the Royals/Red Sox game but I am looking for some boxes to break open. It is hot and humid here, will be heading back home to Oregon soon and cooler weather.

I don't really understand the Montgomery trade, especially as Severino was moved to the 60 day IL from the 10 day IL. Are the Yankees that confident that German will be consistent in Severino's spot? And it's not like Harrison Bader hits for a high average either- his lifetime Batting Average is .246.

I don't fully understand the Monty deal ether. Bader, if he gets on the field, is supposedly a very good defender, with some power. I don't think you'll see stanton n the outfield. Toronto 9.5 back. The ALeast will be facing off quite a bit in the next 50 or so games.

Hope Judge and the Yankees do good against the Mariners. Judge should get his 100 RBI in Seattle. Wondering about the Bullpen. Bader is a great defensive player. Judge has a cannon, Hicks okay fielding but his not hitting for average. Montgomery trade was a shock and now with a good outfield, I wonder where Stanton fits in other than DH.

Aaron Judge hit #45 and RBI #99, other than that, losing late in the game!
