My Quest For My Holy Grail Has Ended!!

This card has been the top of my list for a few years now. I consider it to be the Holy Grail of Eddie Giacomin cards personally. I'd searched, and searched, asked numerous people if they'd ever seen the card, searched some more, and in the past two or three years I have not found sound much as a shred of information that the card was even made. It stayed on my want list but I was about 60% sure the card was not printed and just a figment of my imagination.

Through the help of a friend on here I got a text message last week and to my surprise there was a picture of said Holy Grail. Not a stock image that might have been mocked up by the manufacturer but an actual picture of the card. It didn't take too long and a deal was agreed upon.

As is natural for me when purchasing a big card a weekend stood between I and my Grail and I was helpless as USPS updated me of the card getting closer and closer, only to stop for the weekend about 20 minutes from my home on Sunday. The text updates started early Monday morning until I saw the mail truck. The package required signature but I have Covid but luckily we bypassed that and I headed back inside with a handful of bubble mailers. I set it aside for last and unpackaged all my OPC Update cards and organized them and then opened that final mailer to reveal a card I never thought I would own.

Thank you Eric for the help tracking this down. I really do appreciate the help.

Without further blah blah blah I present to you the Holy Grail of Giacomin cards in my opinion......

    ....maybe a little more suspense.......

    and a drum roll........

WOW.... Now that is a grail card for sure. Congrats on getting a deal done for this thing, and what a beautiful card it is. Love the Property Of set, and to see one land in an amazing player collection like yours is totally awesome.

Look at that thing with pride!

Beautiful card and nice that you finally found it. Those are really nice pieces and usually locked into PCs. Love the Liut too.
