    I think you did very well. I love that Rantanen. With the Crosby, it is still numbered to 10 so very rare and the other 9 copies probably don't look much different.

    I'm of the mindset that we should always go straight to customer service, as this is why they exist. I don't like the culture of complaining, yet still overpaying for both boxes and group breakers, notably on eBay. Markets are supply/demand.

    But, depending on the surface of the card and the type of pen, this does happen quite often. Someone mentioned Stature, and it's so true that streak autos are the norm with them given the glossy finish.

    This is why I just enjoy the cards, independent of the condition. And if I'm annoyed, I just reach out to UD, as they do guarantee 8.5 grading.
