I’m still pretty shocked. Makes no sense and really hurts their team.

Didn't his father Fernado Tatis get busted with steroids? I'm pretty sure I saw him on a failed drug test list somewhere. If true then really no shock.

On IG everyone seems to be jumping off the FTJr ship. Although many in this hobby automatically think because after 2-3 years of greatness that automatically means HoF and prices then skyrocket for their cards. Although not all his fault (Covid) he hasn't even played a whole season yet. Everyone looking for the next Trout. When things like this happen everyone has a cow and panics.

I guess being in my early 50's I've been through the Jose Canseco years where we all thought these cards were going to make us rich rich rich. Nowadays i tell my 16 yr old son wait 10 years to see how good a player is before going crazy and buying everything up. Longevity in this game is a huge factor of greatness IMO. ANYTHING can happen to a player...good or bad. It's really a crap shoot sometimes. Look at Robinson Cano. Until to 2017 after almost 12 years in the majors he was looking like a sure shot for HoF. The man hasn't had a decent season in the past 5 years and looks like he will be stuck at 2600 hits. HoF? Maybe. Maybe not. I think Hall of Very Very Good.

Yeah I double checked and it looks like he never did. That was the only reason I stayed away from Tatis Jr cards. Worked out well for me then but I don't know where I got that idea from.
