I would be fine with shootouts, if players would actually try a move once in a while. Yes, there are some that will make a decent move.... but I swear, shootouts make skilled NHLers look ordinary.
They were supposed to be entertaining, but seeing the same two moves over and over again makes them anything but. They're not going away though, NHL was "reasonable certainty" for the length of a game.
