Scott Rolen elected to the Hall of Fame

The hot corner has historically had a high bar for National Baseball Hall of Fame entry. But in 2023, Scott Rolen made the cut and completed a meteoric rise in support in his time on the Baseball Writers’ Association of America ballot.
Rolen was the only one of the 28 candidates on the BBWAA Hall of Fame ballot to reach the necessary 75% support in results, which were revealed Tuesday night on MLB Network. Rolen will join first baseman Fred McGriff in the Class of 2023 after McGriff’s selection in December by the Contemporary Baseball Era Players Committee.

Good for him. Saw the video of him telling his parents he got in, it was very sweet. You can tell how much the game means to him.

Baseball: Aaron Judge/Adley Rutschman/Derek Jeter/Anthony Volpe!
Only collect Football/Baseball cards, but I have lots of Basketball/Hockey cards and set to trade for BB and FB!

I've never thought of him as a HOFer, good player.. it's time for Arod,Bonds,sheffield,Clemens. Yes,,,,they took steriods, ....but even without juicing, they would have the numbers. besides there are a few users in the hall. Whoever went to a game to see Scott Rolens. Did win a ROY, but so has tom tresh, steve sax, the well known Joe Charbonneau. Just my opinion.
