I Finally Got An Iconic Player's Rookie Card For My PC!

I mostly keep to my goalie museum stuff nowadays (that journey is expensive enough on its own without adding cards into that mix), but I do use cards along the way to supplement the funds for that adventure.

At the same I also have a small personal card collection of things I want to have and don't often share, and I'm not just talking about the old Irbe collection and the Levente Szuper PC I have.

Today, I happily added this 1985 Topps Mario Lemieux Rookie into that "secret collection" of mine. It is a PSA 8 with the PD designation for having a print defect (I think the front picture's colors/resolution being a bit less vibrant than some others I have seen, plus a little ink blotch on the rear above the "M" in Lemieux may be a part of that).

Regardless of that, it is a really nice card and print defects do not bother me in the least since they left the factory in that condition vs a bike-spoke special card which is all second-hand condition issues.

tldr; I am happy to have one of the iconic players' Topps rookies in my collection.
