Another Topps Series 1 Question
I pulled a green refractor card from one of the silver foil packs. It is numbered 48/99. I cannot find any reference to a green refractor series with a xx/99 numbering. Maybe I missed something. Does anyone have an explanation?

It says his rookie card but is it really his official RC? Bowman has it as a 2020 RC card.
In general, what is considered the true rookie card? I guess that's a discussion for another thread but what is the general consensus on the true RC these days?

2023 are rookie cards years for Michael Harris and Vaughn Grissom. The RC emblem is now commonplace for RC years. In this case, the 2020 would be first year cards, also known as pre-RC or XRC. That parallel is really hard to pull.

Anything with the RC logo is considered a rookie card by beckett, although there's some debate regarding inserts with the RC logo. The 2020 card is probably his 1st overall card, but that's still considered a 1st bowman or prospect card. RCs now usually means the player has officially broken into the bigs as a rookie, even if it's not the very first MLB card produced of them.
Yankees + Todd Greene collector. There are tens of thousands of Yankees I need. My grail card is a 2005 Topps Pristine Fielder's Choice Glove Relics #TG Todd Greene.
