Cool, weird, and a little sad

Hello all. I just wanted to share a strange find I picked up at an outdoor swap meet recently. When I first saw it I just opened it and saw a few sports cards. He only wanted $5 so I grabbed it and didn’t really look further through it. When I started looking it isn’t just sports cards. It turned out to be an old school picture album with all sorts of Keith Lockhart memorabilia and also a bunch of his personal photos. I asked where the guy got it and he picked it up at a storage auction. It was in a locker. That’s the sad part really for someone to lose something like this because they didn’t pay a bill :/. Just thought I would share.

A lot of those storage locker auctions are of people who have passed away without relatives or relatives had no way of knowing they had one. Thanks for sharing.

    Scott,
It is sad that folks lose stuff like this but what is sadder most folks could care less about this kind of stuff. I say this as a friend of mine buys storage lockers and he has some found stuff like this and even though he offered to let the family go thru things of a deceased one no one ever comes to get it. You could always contact Keith and who knows perhaps you would get a story out of it and who Art was.

Nice pick up. I’ve seen something similar at the flea market.

@Quarinteen - lockhart signs through pastpros. you might try to reach out to them and send them some photos to see if they can get in touch with Keith to see if he wants his family photos and whatnot.

Pretty cool find...I feel like this is some great history, regardless of the value that seems to be tied to just cards with signatures nowadays
