They deserve it for being an awful franchise that covered up a scandal and should have been stripped of the draft pick to begin with.

If the NHL would have taken a draft pick from them it would have been in last years draft considering everything came out in 2021. The other thing is that everyone that had anything to do with the coverup is gone from the organization.
