    Panini Replacements

    So I have had 2 panini redemptions that were from 11/12 contenders patch set
    Evgeni Malkin
    Kris Letang
    About a year ago I asked for them to be replaced because I broke up the contender patch set I had. I finally got the replacements today.
    I asked for Penguins and Avalanche cards and this is what I got lol still not complaining because I have heard some really bad stories about redemptions and I think I got some pretty good replacements.

    The Giroux National Treasures is pretty, Shanahan is a solid name, and there are not a lot of Tarasenko rookie year autos, and the other cards are not bad too, that's a solid replacement!

    Be happy I am still waiting on a hall of fame redemption replacement as it was a Steve Young auto and they tried to give me a 1000 points and I complained about it. Called them numerous times and not heard from them LOL. Go figure so nice haul for you and I congratulations on a big success.

    Congrats on receiving these. I see Panini has shipped out some hockey redemptions recently. I wonder what, if any, stock remains in their warehouse.

    They must have been doing a "close up the outstanding hockey" thing recently. My brother (not an active member here) had a Jamie Oleksiak NT RC Auto /5 redemption from 12-13 that he'd forgotten about, and just got a Lafontaine Auto /99 (from Certified, I think), an Al Iafrate Classic Sigs auto, and an unnumbered Eddie Lack Auto (also from Certified, I think) as a replacement.

    I think you did pretty well. Like was already said, not what you asked for - but pretty good value IMO.
