eBay crack down on Group Breakers
Just read this article. https://www.valueaddedresource.net/e...g-card-breaks/
Only 10 Group Breakers total are allowed to sell on eBay now? wow. Maybe the price of boxes will come down if so much less will be opened, since people will have to start buying whole boxes.Master List: Hidden Content

One of the problems that might have led to this decision is the number of team and even player breaks that do not sell out. Ebay was probably getting lots of complaints when the break sellout reaches months because all the slots were not filled?

About a year ago I walked into the Walmart Card section (when they used to sell cards) and there was a sign next to the card display "All sales final, no refunds." It made me think that there were people going to walmart, opening the product and if they found nothing the like they would return it and ask for a refund. The Walmart employee who is probably clueless when it comes to sports cards would then grant the customer his refund.
Maybe this is what was happening with Ebay. Somebody buys a random spot, they don't get the team/cards they want, They complain to ebay that they didn't get the cards they wanted, the ebay employee who is clueless about sports card breaking gives them the refund.
Of course there's always a problem with shady breakers. Over the past year i've seen some breakers on whatnot open packs, look at the edge of cards in the pack, pull the pack off camera and replace it with another card, leading to customer uproars. Maybe too much of that was going on in regards to ebay breakers
