This is exactly what I've been doing for nearly 20 years.

An oversized letter (i.e. a bubble mailer) up to 100 grams (i.e. a couple of hockey cards, with toploader(s) will cost you $3.19.

Put a stamp on the envelope, and drop it in the mailbox. I've never had a problem.

Is that appropriate for a $300 package? No. There's no tracking, no insurance. It's perfectly fine for a $20 package though.

I've been doing this for years, but there have been several reports of people in Canada getting their bubble-mailers returned to them since 2022. Now, for low-end, I tell my trading partners in advance, and I ship in a taped sleeve between 2 thin cardboards in PWE.

a close friend and I have been selling on eBay heavily the past 2-3 months or so, offloading cards. Just one general observation we've both noticed is that USA packages to specifically Florida have been returned to us (for me I've had the same package returned twice). Thankfully, I've had understanding buyers, my friend unfortunately not so much. However, we've had packages to other states have no issues . Both of us are sending from GTA.
