Non-Leafs PC item for my son.
When my son started spring 3 on 3 hockey this year it was not great, lost the first 3 games by a total score of 56-14. Luckily, reinforcements came in the form of a kid who's been living in Austria and was coming back home to Sudbury for the summer. Little did we know the reason this kid was in Austria was because that's where his dad, Andrew Desjardins, has been playing there after 5 years in Manheim, and 7 years between the Sharks and Blackhawks that included a Stanley Cup Win.
After the game we had a team dinner at one of the parent's restaurant, and Andrew brought in an Autographed picture of him with the cup for each kid on the team. Needless to say they were pumped. And while not a Leafs item, that picture now sits framed on his wall next to his medals.
