Americans - Does Anyone Want a Free Zegras Gold Rookie?
So here is my issue, kind of a weird one. I sold a 2021-22 Series 1 Trevor Zegras OPC Glossy Rookie Gold on eBay. I'm from Canada and I sold it to someone in the States. The buyer has disputed the sale and claims that the card was a bronze. Not true, it is a gold card. However, because of the money back guarantee, I have to accept the request for a full return. When I receive the card back I will immediately dispute the return but I don't know what will happen from there and the way I have been treated by eBay on this issue doesn't lead me to believe they will offer anything but platitudes about protecting buyers. Problem is I am from Canada and I do not want to spend the $13+ it would take to return the card as it is just not worth it. That doesn't make sense. But, I also don't want to allow the person who is falsely claiming I ripped him off to receive a free card. So, I was thinking, I could send the card to someone in the United States as it would be relative cheap alternative to paying to have it shipped back to Canada. I don't really know anyone from the States, so, if anyone is interested PM me. I know this sounds odd but I'd rather this then allow some scammer to have a card for free.

This is OPC fault, it's always been hard to distinguish between gold and copper cards

I'm pretty sure if you provide a return label from ebay iy has to have your return address on it. If you just give them money to "send it to someone" they'll just pocket the money. Really your two options are pay the $13 to get it back, or let them keep it.

I'm avoiding UD tins because of this reason. It would be so easy for UD to make it easier for us to know which version each card is.
