1993-94 UD Be A Player NHLPA/Roots punch holed clothing tags -- Series 1 near set to trade...
Please look at my pic. I have nine of the 10 first cards of the 1993-94 Upper Deck NHLPA/Roots card set. I think the whole series has thirty cards... BUT, what's particular with my cards, is that I have the rare punch holed version... I'm also including the "Beckett list" of all the cards I have available. You can too read the text below (it's from Beckett dot com); it's giving the whole set info :
Teamed with the NHL Players Association, Upper Deck issued these clothing tags as a promotion for a new line of clothing produced by the clothing manufacturer, Roots Canada. Called "Hang Out," each article of clothing came with one of ten "hang tag" cards featuring on their fronts a full-bleed photo of the NHL player wearing the clothing. The clothing tags measure the standard size and are punch holed in the upper left corner. Versions of these cards without the punch hole also exist. With a faded and enlarged Upper Deck logo, the backs carry the player's name and an advertisement for the NHLPA apparel. The cards are numbered on the back. The entire set could also be purchased by mail. The first series came out in 1993, while the second series came out in 1994. Reportedly 5,000 sets of the third series were produced. The backs of cards 21-30 also have a NHLPA apparel advertisement but sport a different design than cards 1-20.

Again, at the risk of repeating myself, I'm not asking that much bv for those... Plus, keep in mind that the punch holed version of these, just as mine, is really very scarce!!! And thus rarer than the "non-punch holed" one(s). Looking for cards of Roy in trade; I can too look at your Bobrovsky traders. Thanks a lot !!!

Not trying to be an ™™™, but could you just hole punch some non-hole punched ones and finish the set? Is that a thing?
Collect what you like. Simple.

I guess you could, but it would show! The holes are not that big, and they're all exactly at the same spot on all the cards. Someone trying to do something like you just said, to me, is not a real collector! Anyway, me, I wouldn't...
Obviously, "everything" on this planet can probably be counterfeited, "if of course an individual puts his heart into it" however, you would have to be malicious, not mentioning that these cards are no high-ends. So, what would be the point here of doing this?!
Plus, you would likely damage them, and do some wear to the cards while trying to punch hole them... All that being said, I'm pretty positive mine are all legit and genuine. Bought 'em on eBay, kept the Roy for my pc of St. Patrick, that's why I have these nine remaining ones available for sale, or for trade..
Thanks!
