I really can't describe what it was like. I was in a diabetic coma if that would make any difference. Have absolutely no recollection of 5-6 days. I know when I started coming out of it in the ICU, I was seeing all kinds of strange stuff. Kids in dinosaur costumes at a Christmas party, people working on construction stuff, a window in my wall that a killer was looking through. Just a bunch of stuff that wasn't there.

Thanks for the story. It is probably my biggest fear to be in a coma because it would just be so scary to not be able to move or communicate with people while your brain is still active. I'm always been strangely fascinated because everyone has a different story and reason why they came out of it. I just can't imagine something happening and then suddenly you wake up and find out you were in a coma for like 10 years. Would be even worse if you were trapped for 10 years knowing versus having no recollection. A bit scary that you were seeing all kinds of strange stuff that isn't there but I guess we still don't know how the brain fully works and functions. Just glad you made it out okay
