2020 - 2025 Random NFL Trading Cards ~ What Should I Do With Them?

Old man here, getting back into sports trading cards after about 30 years. I've been doing quite a bit of ripping the last 4 or 5 months. What do ya'll do with the randoms that you don't want to keep and aren't really worth much?

I've got a wide array of different brands, etc. Should I just trash them, try to sell them somewhere, etc.?

My wife is already seeing the boxes pile up, I need to get those box numbers down lol

There's going to be people interested. Just post a list of what you have, and you'll get some responses.

That base actually has value. You can sell it in quantity at shows or for a local pickup. All base has a value if you have enough of it but 2020 to now carries a premium as it avoids the "junk" years most people encounter when people are selling commons

I have probably 10 long boxes of decent NFL cards, a lot of 2024-2025 (Score/Donruss/Mosaic/Phoenix/etc.), a decent amount of 2022 Score and a peppering of 2020 - 2025 other randoms. I looked at a local card shops website, they don't appear to be interested in buying anything in bulk. I guess I'll need to find a decent sized card show to try and attend.

I donate mine to Goodwill. Not worth the shelf space or my time to make nickles and dimes. I'll hang onto rookie skill positions and 1st rounders, a few stars like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, etc, and Chicago Bears players. Otherwise - gone.

There's always margin to make money on this though. Consider adding to the inventory manager here for future trades or list what you have on sportlots.com. I like SL for cheap base to fill sets.

Yeah, I thought about donating to Goodwill or even just seeing if the local card shop wants them for free. I am collecting ALL rookie cards (I keep all of them, in a penny sleeve at a minimum, top loader for players I like, or I know have real potential. I also keep all Steelers related cards, regardless of their potential value. the collection has grown quickly...I don't want to look back on how much I've spent ripping packs in the last 6 months. But it brings back memories and it's quite enjoyable.
