You, me and every Habs fan under the sun. LOL

In all his years, the Habs had one player reach PPG status...once. It was Kovalev, in Carey's rookie year. This current roster with better goaltending (sorry, Monty) would be 1st in the East this season. But it's all part of the maturation process. There have been many more enjoyable nights than not. And it's so much more exciting to see this team with the ability to regularly pop 4+ goals per game instead of getting two and leaving the rest to Carey.

I by no means am a Habs fan. But do love hockey and great play. Habs will be up there for the next decade or more with what they have built and are building.

It is the Habs fans that have turned me away from cheering for them when my team is done. ( done already). A lot are like Jameesalacarte was only hear from them when the team is doing good and do the best to run down others. Mainly Leafs, James case Habs.
Lots are starting to run the mouth yet I did not hear from them the last 4 or 5 years.
I realize the Leafs hired a dump and chase coach with a puck possession offense. We have not done well. We have big slow shot blocking defence. By the way the reason a few are up among the leaders in shot blocks is because we give up way too many shot attempt. Without the blocks shots per game against would be 45 or better. 12 or 14 shots total last night for us. YEEE HAWWW. Loved it when they played puck possession under Dubias/Keeffe. Still gave up enough shots but at least we played half the game in the oppositions end.

Goaltending in Montreal looked pretty solid the last part of the season.
Playoffs a different breed, Goals harder to get and each goal magnifies. Hope Dobes has grown/matured some as it will be tough slogging in the playoffs and he will need to be mentally sound.

Looking good for Montreal now and in the future as the grow/mature

Liking what i have seen from the goaltending end in Montreal. Gave up 1 that i assume he would like to have back but buckled down and Montreal won in OT.
If the Montreal big 3 can get past the smothering checking and start potting goals, then they will go deeper than i thought
