Still paying triple to ship your bulk cards? Many collectors are missing out on cheaper options, and you might be one of them.
Many collectors still do not use PayPal or alternative shipping methods, and I cannot understand why not. For example, today I shipped a package containing over 3,000 cards, most in sleeves. I organized the cards into 500- and 300-count boxes, then packed them with bubble wrap in a larger box measuring approximately 14 by 12 by 9 inches and weighing nearly 18 pounds. Using PayPal's shipping site, I sent the package for $8.53. In comparison, shipping a similar package through the Post Office would likely cost $20 or more. This demonstrates that there are cost-effective ways to ship bulk cards while maintaining profitability. Too often, I see others charging $20 or $30 for smaller boxes, on top of the cost of the cards.
If you want to try PayPal for shipping, the process is simple: Log in to your PayPal account, go to the "PayPal ShipStation" or "Create Shipping Label" tool, and enter your package details and recipient address. You can compare USPS and UPS rates, then purchase and print your label right from the site. Tape it to your box and drop it off at your carrier—the entire process only takes a few minutes and can save you significant money on shipping.
Is there a specific reason many people use Priority Mail for shipping large boxes of free or low-value cards? If you have a preferred shipping method for bulk cards, or if you continue to use Priority Mail, I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Sharing your reasons or any tips you have may help other collectors discover new ways to save on shipping and make larger trades more feasible for everyone. Let’s use this space to exchange ideas and build our community of collectors who are always looking for better solutions.
Recently, I used this approach with Michigandan on Sportscardforum, who collects Red Wings cards. I encouraged him to take what he needed, and we agreed to arrange a trade later. I am sure others are also looking for ways to move unwanted cards. I am sharing this option to help facilitate bulk trading in the future. I welcome your thoughts on this approach, especially considering current shipping costs.
Perhaps this could be used in the trading group to facilitate larger deals run by Hobbyfan and other team traders, rather than bubblemailers, at a less frequent interval. Just a thought on that front.

Great idea Don! That would be a big savings for bulk shipping of cards.
I know many Ebay sellers have lots of complete sets at good prices, but the shipping is very high.
This would be a good method to keep the prices down.Jesus Said:
"Come Unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 11:28
