Thru the Mail (TTM) members asking for suggestions or improvements on a better TTM
Dear TTM (Thur the Mail) members,
I know over the years many of you have made suggestions or thoughts of how we could make the TTM better. I wrote another post about SCF owning other sites. Over a The Bench they have been working on a TTM forum. If you could go over there and take look on the layout and make suggestions from here, other places you been, and perhaps other ideas you would like to see that could be implemented it would be great. Link is below and the site has links to follow: (My request, Browse Player, Add Player, etc.).
The Bench TTM

Some of the suggestions and thoughts I seen over the years are:
a) Search just for e-mail listings. Instead of having to go thru a physical list to find them.
b) Able to edit your own posts (I doubt this can happen but just one I have seen many times over the years)
c) Easier way to list players with the same name, As there has been confusion with a player who has the same name and plays the same sport (how to differentiate easily).
d) Get rid of the ads (probably will not happen as it helps keep the site running).
and the list goes on and on but some off the top of my head.
If you all have any suggestions or thoughts please leave a reply below so I can forward them to the coder and the owner to possibly see if they can implement them.

Maybe it's just Me, but I can't for the Life of me figure out how to add a 2nd address line.
for example:
joe blow
c/o team sports
123 street avenue
..
turns out as:
joe blow
c/o team sports 123 st aveCheck Hidden Content for my wantlist. I'm always looking for nice patches of baseball or basketball.
I like: Hot RCs and multi-color patches.

@Ai2Ai I would say there are two ways to do this. When adding the address, there is Address 1: and Address 2:. You could utilize both of those line.
OR
If you are just adding a c/o Insert Team Name here, you can always just add that to the Instruction line. That is where I always add my c/o, such as:
Paul Skenes
c/o Pittsburgh Pirates

One thing I have always thought, having used three of these sites/services now ... I would like to see a couple other categories, as "non-sport" can be helpful but also a very wide and potentially vague descriptor. For example, I think there are enough wrestlers and actors that they could have pretty robust categories of their own.

I had an idea for the TTM forum. There are a bunch of set collectors that do TTM to try and complete a set completely autographed, such as myself. What if we added something to track progress of sets that all memebers could see. Also maybe create a trade page that we could add TTM cards too that members could search on to see if there is any cards they could trade for to help complete their sets.
Current Project: Building a complete signed 1991 Pacific Football set. If you have any that are signed IP/TTM/Signing, I'd be happy to try and make a deal
As of 3/23/26:
HOFer's 19/49, Total cards: 398/660, 60.3% complete

One thing I would like is to be able to tag certain players to be notified if they have any successes.
- for streaky signers (like Mike Lum) it would be nice to know if they start signing again
- for players who signed but then kind of disappeared that might reappear (like Jerry Mumphrey)
- for players who start signing once they retire from their post-playing career

I would like to be able to follow other TTM collectors
- I am working on the 1979 topps baseball and there was another guy working on 1978, so we had a lot of crossover
- There are other TTM collectors that seem to work on the same types of cards that I like (SweetBob and wongcastle are two examples)
