    NBA Announcers/GMs that are former NBA players

    I'm trying to get together a list of former NBA players that are announcers or GMs that travel with the team. Please add any if you can, and verify any that Im not sure about. (?=not sure about)

    Atlanta: Steve Smith, Dennis Scott
    Boston: Tommy Heinsohn
    Chicago: Bill Wennington, Stacey King, John Red Kerr, John Paxson
    Cleveland: Scott Williams?
    Dallas: Brad Davis, Popeye Jones (player development, but isnt listed on the coaches roster)
    Detroit: Greg Kelser, Rick Mahorn
    Golden State:
    Houston: Clyde Drexler (home), Matt Bullard (away)
    Indiana: Clark Kellogg (home), Quinn Buckner (away) Larry Bird (does he travel?)
    LA Clippers: Michael Smith
    LA Lakers: Stu Lantz, Mychal Thompson
    Memphis: Jerry West (does he travel?)
    Minnesota: Kevin McHale (does he travel?)
    New Jersey: Mark Jackson?
    New Orleans:
    New York: Walt Frazier, Kenny Smith
    Orlando: Nick Anderson?
    Phoenix: Dan Majerle
    San Antonio: Sean Elliott
    Seattle: Craig Ehlo, Lenny Wilkins occasionally
    Utah: Ron Boone, Hot Rod Hundley

    he was also the coach and played for the celtics

    LA Clippers - Michael Smith (not the 'Animal', but the one who played at BYU, Boston Celtics in 89-91, and Clippers in 95)

    edited, thanks for the help. I also hear Mark Jackson was working for the Nets last year, but they arent sure if he is this year, anyone know?

    I heard him doing the game tonight, but I don't know if he travels with the team

    Lenny Wilkens sometimes does the announcing for Seattle with Craig Ehlo

    ok, no prob, id rather be safe and keep him on the list, it never hurts.

    Kenny Smith does Knicks games on TV, but I'm not sure if he does any away games.
