    I don't understand this card...

    http://cgi.ebay.com/LEBRON-JAMES-03-...QQcmdZViewItem

So they decided hey GREAT card idea, we'll have basketball palyers sign baseballs... HUH?

Yeah, it's because the "Sweet Spot" brand started off in baseball. I don't like the idea either.
They started putting them on basketball swatches later...which look a whole lot better to me.

i love the design of those Sweet Spot autos on baseball, from what i hear they are SUPER THICK too...

Well it's Sweet Shot for basketball (as opposed to spot in baseball)

..and even in the latest release, they still have those autos on baseballs.

Maybe I'm the only one but I like i on the baseball better. It's cleaner, even though it's not the same sport. Looking at all the dimples on the basketball/leather surface...I don't know, it kind of makes me sick sometimes reading the auto and then seeing those dimples...look kind of like pimples or skin warts...

The baseball auto skin is alot more SP'd then the basketball skin auto's. I believe the blue thread is limited to a # of 3 at least for the one that I've seen for Marvin Williams. The red thread baseball skin is #'d to 25 or 50.

Am I the only person who thinks companies selling initialed cards as "autographs" is extremely lame?

Lebron's "23/LB" James auto is far from lame.
