9/8/07 SF TriStar
Getting smaller every year the SF TriStar was none the less an event which gave life to a normal Saturday! I'm breaking a box of '07 Heritage as I type this...picked up some adds to my Wills, Aparicio, Newcombe, 1950 Bowman Horizontals, and E. Howard collections as well as a nice graded '81 Fleer Star Stickers Yount.

I took several photos of vendors who were willing to show their pick of their collection while I was able to spread the word that I was from STC, (can we get some business cards or something?) First up is Marty from Mesa, AZ who was a really nice and HEAVY-DUTY holder of some of the most beautiful, obscure vintage I've seen!! He had me hold up a 1:1 NM 1932 Star Player Gehrig and Cobb BV @ $9500.00 or so each!

...next is Bill from Horsehide Inc. He shows his T206 Cobb portrait which he hides w/his finger because it came back from PSA 'trimmed'...

And Finally Its D&L Sportscards from Dallas who show a NM Sohio Oil Roger Maris, (a pre-rookie issue of Roger in an Indians uniform, which is the only one in the graded population !!)

After these shots I perused the show, heard the vendors complaining how slow it was, and tried to talk evry dealer down in price on the cards which I was after!! :cool2:
