    Making money/selling cards

    Hey i had a question.
I was wondering if its a good idea to buy cards wholesale, and then sell them (i.e. Ebay). is it a good idea?? i know i have to get a business license inorder to buy wholesale, but i can get that.

so what do you guys think?

  2. Find great items from Steel City Collectibles on eBay and save money!

In today's market, it's an extreme risk unless the cards that you are selling are the hot insert right off the press.

well i was thinking of buying boxes, not individual cards. if thats what you meant by inserts. sorry if dont understand.

for examply id buy whole sale of 2003 UD Glass, and then sell those on ebay.

Buying a hot product it could work out. I would give it a try if I were you... you can always invest more money into it if it turns out to work in your favor.

Ahhh... that must be why we had such a flood of "youngins" that were looking for free cards. Well sky, it is true that you CAN get free cards here, but you must first EARN them by collecting points. You get 1 point per post, 30 points per LEGIT referral, and we run various contests and trivia everyday to give out points. You then redeem these points for items in the store. Here is a link to the current store :

Also, here's a presale website that sells cases so you can get an idea of the new products and about how much they will run you :

I would agree with Iggy. There are just too many venues where folks can buy cards on the cheap.

One different avenue you can take is to go to auctions (the ones in person), buy huge lots (and I mean, huge huge lots --- $1000 or more worth of cards).....then sell them.
