2003 NFL Predictions...
I know the 2003 NFL season is still a few months off, but I wanna see what everybody thinks about the upcoming season. Considering all the free agent moves and that really strange 1st round of the draft, I'm kinda curious how things will shape up by January.
So, I am offering my predictions here for you to take a look at and I would like to hear your predictions in the same categories. Let's go!!
Please, no biased opinions. Just what you honestly believe could happen.
AFC East Champs: Buffalo
AFC West Champs: Oakland
AFC North Champs: Cleveland
AFC South Champs: Indianapolis
NFC East Champs: Philadelphia
NFC West Champs: San Francisco
NFC North Champs: Green Bay
NFC South Champs: Atlanta
AFC Playoff Teams: Oakland, Indy, Cleveland, Buffalo, Miami, San Diego
NFC Playoff Teams: SF, Philly, Atlanta, Green Bay, Tampa, St. Louis
AFC Champs: Buffalo over Oakland
NFC Champs: Atlanta over San Francisco
Super Bowl XXXVIII: Atlanta over Buffalo
NFL MVP: Donovan McNabb (Philly)
Offensive Rookie of the Year: Charles Rodgers (Detroit)
Defensive Rookie of the Year: Terrance Newman (Dallas)
Come-Back Player of the Year: Kurt Warner (St. Louis)
Most Improved Player: Joey Harrington (Detroit)
Coach of the Year: Gregg Williams (Buffalo)
Now...if I was a little more biased I would pick the Raiders over the Bucs 56-0 in Super Bowl XXXVIII. Oh well...

wow, nice picks.
HOWEVER, it's way too early to start predictions.
All of the following could happen before the pre-season even begins:
What if Brad Johnson and Derrick Brooks of Tampa Bay get hurt?
What if Donovan McNabb can't play?
What if Michael Vick is hurt?
Just look at Derrick Mason of TN Titans. ESPN reported that he broke his hand the other day while swinging a golf club.
It's too early to make predictions, even though football magazines have probably come out with theirs already

Well, The NFL is getting harder to predict every year. There really is a lot of parity which I like.
I think we're going to see the Raiders bring it back and the final rise of the Packers.
Superbowl Prediction:
Raiders v. Packers
Watch out for the Texans in '04!

A little eary to make my predictions but I really love your Bills picks. Except for them losing the Super Bowl. They don't need to lose another one. They need to win one.

Wow RaiderNation8180, I was blown away at all of what you said above. hehe. I think of who is going to win the Super Bowl but not so much in depth like you have. Cudos to you. hehe. I personally would love to see the Patriots in the Bowl this year but I have a fealing that it won't happen. With so much going on it is to hard to tell on who is going to do what. With whatever happens I am just glad that they did not add the two extra teams to the playoff spots. :)

see I think Indy hasa good chance to making it to the afc championship game, they have been very quiet in the off season, and beware of quiet teams.

RaiderNation8180....
i think your hopes for cleveland, are too high. i more than anyone would love to see the browns do well this year, but with the current releasings, and a grade C at best for this years draft, i just dont see them winning the division, or making the playoffs for that matter.

yep and kobe was picked where in the draft, nobody gambled on amare until the 9 th pick and randy moss barely made it in the first round, yep don't bet the ranch on those drafts. I was just thinking brett favre used to be in atlanta, aaron brooks was a packer, brad johnson and kurt warner played in nfl europe and warner was cleaning off shelves at his local grocery store before somebody realized how far he would throw a sack of potatoes.
and last but not least the bears drafted cade mcnowm, I don't even care that they drafted him 1st, but drafted him period. over tim couch and mcnabb.
the chic that he and couch was fighting over probably is saying I picked this loser too.

Wolf - I think Cleveland will be better than some people expect. I know the y didn't do too much in the offseason, but considering their division opponents, I think they have a shot. As long as they figure out who their QB is.
As for the predictions...it's just what I feel could happen. For all we know, we could end up seeing the Lions and the Bengals in the Super Bowl. That's how unpredictable the NFL is nowadays. But I still like to make my predictions though.
I like BGray's Super Bowl prediction. GO RAIDERS!!!

You think the Steelers are going to lose the division to cleveland? No chance of that happening in the next 2-3 years! Baltimore has a better chance than Cleveland because B-more is making a VERY quick comeback after it's selloff of players. If only Redman can stay healthy for a season.
