An NPN is for a specific product. You'll send an index card with your name, address, and other pertinent info required. I think Canadian residents have to solve a real easy math question for them to legally be entered for NPN. For instance if you want a chance at a pack of 2007 Bowman baseball, you would need the NPN address specifically for the 2007 Bowman. The NPN forum will have products listed with NPN addresses and the dates the NPN expires. You are not guaranteed to get anything, but all it cost you is an index card and 41 cent stamp to be entered for a chance at a pack of cards. I sent off 8 NPNs so far and have gotten two packs in the mail.

Go here to check on "open NPNs" that you can still enter:

it is just a small card, it is what people use when they have to read a speech usually. or what people write recipes on.

go to any grocery store or drug store or office supply store and they will be with the other school supplies. ask if you're not sure.

    Index Card

What are you supposed to write on the index card? your return adress or do you provide a SASE

You usually write your name and full address and sometimes phone number. When you get a pack of cards, read the back and it will tell you exactly what to write on the card.

You do not need to provide a SASE. Just a long white envelope with an index card in it.

Here's the SCF NPN list, has not been updated in a long while, but it gives you some info on basic things.

I have personally gotten autographs, serial numbered cards, jerseys and inserts from NPN requests. They usually take a long while to get back, so be patient. I'd say around 1 out 3 that I have sent was good for some sort of free insert.

Can you say which one would you prefer to send NPN to more?
