Do you ever wonder...
I know we all LOVE this hobby but....Do you ever wonder why someone will spend 3 times as much for a autographed card then say a actual baseball/football etc?
I was thinking this because I was bidding on a Arod Auto card for over $300 myself and got out of the bidding because I bought an ARod MLB/Steiner Autographed ball for $244.00. Its not a "card" but what the heck!
Thoughts?

Are you talking about in person/through the mail autos or authentic ones from card companies?

I don't ever buy/trust "in person" unless the person was ME!
Through the mail...I don't buy.
I guess I am talking about "Authentic" from card companies.

For some people maybe they feel like a card is more convenient.
I would just as much rather have an actual jersey or football, etc. autographed and certified of the player I collect than a card.
Just my opinion, though.

Hehe. Freakin' sweet!
Not saying that I have any but if I could afford it I would definetely rather have that that a card any day.
My problem is that I'd want it on display somehow. I'd want a shadow box but those cost more than a screw-down does. LOL.
A bit off-topic, but I'm currently looking for a shadow box of some sort for a drum head...
