With the 3rd pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, the MN T-Wolves select -

    Brook Lopez, Center from Stanford
    7'0", 260 lbs.

We feel that Brook will be an immediate impact player. He should compliment Al Jefferson very well. This will allow Al Jefferson to move back to PF, Ryan Gomes back to SF, and put Corey Brewer back on the bench (where he belongs!). He should be a great blocker, rebounder and add in 10+ points per game.

thats a brilliant pick! timberwolves have no need for mayo, and he'd hate being there (since he loves the lime light) lopez was very underrated but a excellent player

Exactly what was needed for the Wolves..... now Jefferson won't have an "Amare complex" ("I can't be an offensive stud when I have to defend a center every night")

The problem is that Foye isn't a point guard, Telfair sucks, and Jaric isn't starter material..

I like Telfair....start him or Foye at PG and McCants at SG....or Telfair and Foye....they also have 2 of the first 4 picks in the 2nd round, so they can get a SG/PG there I think
