I stopped by the Westridge Mall on the off chance I might catch a show. Wooo and I did.

Didn't really buy any singles because well their vultures. Wanting way too much for the better cards. But one older gentleman actually gave my 3 boys each a pack of Topps baseball seeing we had watched the Royals play Friday the 20th againest the Giants.
Which was especially nice seeing most of the sellers there are worse than ebay sellers.
So I decided to spend my money with him. Since my middle son Georgie wants to start collecting I bought him a finest Rookie of the Royals starting pitcher Hoechver. Then i seen he had packs of prestige elite and cosigners. So bought 3 packs 1 of each. The elite and cosigners were duds. But the pack of prestige I had paydirt with.
Pulled a 4/25 Black prestigous Picks patch of Matt Ryan 1st rd selection of the Atlanta Falcons. Which is cool since I had last years patch from Peterson which booked at $200.

Now if Ryan can just win some games and look good doing it I got a gem.

As for the show if your looking for deals/steals you went to the wrong place. If you don't know much about cards STAY AWAY from this show they will rob you. I hate speaking bad about people but these guys talk and do not realize not everyone knows nothing of cards. I know my stuff and most of the bv for things I'm lookin for. So when I get talked to like a 5 year old with money I truely want to tell these sellers what I think of them. Mind you this was the last day of the show and few were willing to make any kinds of deals. All I heard was bv this and that. I watched them turn almost everyone away unless they got 50% or better of bv. I say let them keep their cards and eat the cost of the tables!!!!!! Packs are about the only thing worth paying for there!!!!!!
