Joe Pa died at 9:25 am on Sunday. He did NOT die on Saturday night as was posted here. Again Mark Twain said it best "the reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".

January 21. Pitcher Cliff Chambers
On May 6, 1951, in the second game of a doubleheader at Braves Field in Boston, Chambers pitched a no-hitter for the Pittsburgh Pirates, beating the Boston Braves, 3-0.

Former Cardinal, Bud Byerly, has passed away. His passing leaves Stan Musial as the last surviving member of the 1944 Cardinals WS Championship team. He was 91.

Former Dolphins & 49ers great WR Freddie Solomon passed away on 2/13/12 from Colon/Liver cancer.
