As most of you know I am retired Army.
The signed items I received from him has been then and now one of my cherished autographs. Mr Stratton was in the first conflict of being at Pearl and aboard the Arizona and after he recovered from his wounds he continued to serve and was in the last engagement at Okinawa.
Well I found out today that Don has passed away at 97 leaving Lou Conter, and Ken Potts as the remaining last living members of the Arizona's crew.
Mr Donald Stratton survivor of the USS Arizona I Salute you and may you RIP
