Final Remarks:
I would like to take this time to thank Topps for providing the Sportscardforum with this great box break.
Once again Topps has shown why they are a front runner in the hobby world, with another great release. Topps Finest is a great product at a very reasonable price. This break was just a mini-box however you get one auto per mini-box and several inserts. We managed to get 15 percent of the base set put together off of just one mini-box at that rate it would be 45 percent per full hobby box which is pretty good.
Topps Finest has a very colorful array of cards that offers several parallel versions of each card. The unique style of Topps Finest makes it one of my favorite products every year, the colors really bring the cards to life.
Topps Finest is a great set to try and build for those set collecters as the set features 100 veterans and 50 rookies plus 50 autographs. On the other hand they also offer the parallel versions to these cards in several different Refractor versions for those that like the challenge of putting those harder sets together.
All in all this break of Topps Finest was a solid break the only thing that I would have liked was a better auto, but those are the breaks, lol. We had some pretty good Refractor pulls as well, which made this box break quite fun. Thanks for taking time to read my review and be on the look out for other great products from Topps.

5/5 for design?
I guess it's a personal preference, but I'd give those cards 1/5 in design.

yeah i guess it is a preference, i think the cards look cool, colorful and shiny. nice change from regular sets that are just action photos by themselves.

I don't know if this has been posted before anywhere but here it is.
Topps announces that because of a production error in 2008 Topps Finest Football, the Base Autographed Rookie Cards are not sequentially numbered as originally solicited. In an effort to correct this error, consumers can send these particular cards to Topps to have them sequentially numbered. Each card will be numbered and have a 3M Authentication Sticker placed on the card’s back. Sequential numbering for each subject will start at the number 1 and continue numerically as cards are received.
In addition to getting your card numbered, Topps will also include a free pack of hobby football cards. All cards will be accepted until March 31st 2009. Cards should be sent to:
The Topps Company
ATTN: Consumer Relations
401 York Ave.
Duryea, PA 18642

Thanks for the info, I noticed that it said all were #'d and the one we got wasn't. However when I tried to go the Topps site about it, it didn't let me don't know if it was down at the time or my computer was acting up. so I thought maybe that part was just a misprint, thanks for the good info. Daniel.

Not Cool!
So this means that only 40 sets can be completed of Finest since the base rookies are autographed and numbered....?
Thats not cool for the set collector!
