Yup his rookie was in 2001 and he has a couple in 2002 as well.

I got that one in auction and assumed it was a rookie because it books for $5. Should have looked into it more.

true rcs are only one year. so in podsednik's case, his TRUE rc would be in the year 2001 only.

Yeah I know that. I was pointing out that he had cards in 2001 and 2002 not that 2001 and 2002 were his rookie cards.

Podsednik has a couple 2001 rookie cards.
2 different 2002 cards.
And a handful of 2003 cards.

I probably should have put a comma after the 2001 to pause in reading my previous sentence but I rarely use commas.
