Jay Z may want to be the head coach all he wants, there is no way on earth that he becomes a head coach in the NBA. This guy is a pipe dreamer.
The future of the Nets still looks good especially if they can resign Kenyon Martin after this season. They already have Kidd locked up for multi years so that is start. They have their best player signed, now they have to sign Martin to a long term deal. I don't see them winning any championships however if they do not get a big man. The thing with Alonzo hurt them bad, salary cap wise. They will pay for him next year as well.

Also, Richard Jefferson, Is a new Stud in this League. He is emerging as an allstar.

If they can keep the core of Kidd, Martin, and Jefferson together, they will always be competitive. They need to bring in one big guy to really solidify there team. They run into problems against bigger western teams like The Spurs and Lakers in the last 2 finals. This year, "Wallace and Wallace" have the 2 big players, and I was kind of disappointed that KMart didnt have a more take-it-right at them type of approach. I still have Nets taking the series, Im willing to bet NJ can comeback and win it. It will be a tough and close series though.
