    Sugarpam - (Jeremy Accardo)

I would like to welcome the newest member to the HOF, Sugarpam. Pam has built an amazing collection of Jeremy Accardo, including several impressive low numbered cards.

Be sure to check out her photobucket to see what she has so far.

Also, If you happen to have any of these cards, be sure to contact Pam. These are the last 6 non 1/1's she needs:

-2006 Exquisite Collection Dual Signatures Platinum Accardo/Cain /10
    -2006 Fleer Glossy Gold
    -2006 Fresno Grizzlies
-2006 Sweet Spot Bat Barrel Black Ink /25 (Redemption)
-2006 Sweet Spot Bat Barrel Blue Ink /5 (Redemption)
-2007 Exquisite Collection Rookie Signatures Dual Silver Spectrum Accardo/Soria /10

    Pictures of Accardo collection:

From the Beckett checklist I have:
    - 110/166 = 66% total cards
    - 92/98 = 94% (total minus 1/1s)

    My cards broken down:
    - 8 1/1s
    - 15 printing plates
    - 27 certified autographs

    Unlisted cards:
    - 2006 Venezualen sticker
    - 2006 Topps Blue (7/10)
    - 2007 Sweet Spot Black/Silver stitch, silver ink 1/1
    - 2007 Sweet Spot Glove Leather, green ink 1/1
    - 2007 Sweet Spot Black stitch, black ink 1/1
    - 2007 UD Spectrum Auto red ink variation

Full Game Used Memorabilia (all signed in person):
    - 2005 Norwich Navigators jersey
    - 2006 Blue Jays Black Alternate jersey
    - 2006 Blue Jays Gray Road jersey
    - 2007 Blue Jays White Home Jersey

    In Person Autographs:
    - 8 8X10s
    - 1 4X6 (picture of Accardo and I taken at the Rogers Centre)
    - 19 cards
    - 4 game used jerseys
    - 1 OMLB signed on sweet spot
    - 2006 Blue Jays team signed ball w/Accardo

I began collecting everything Jeremy Accardo in 2006, shortly after he was traded from the Giants to the Blue Jays. I met him at the Rogers Centre before a game during his first homestand as a Jay and I have never met a more fan friendly player. I have met him numerous times over the last three seasons (both in Toronto and during Spring Training), and every single time he is friendly and talkative. Jeremy Accardo may not be the most famous baseball player, but he's a "good guy", and a great ball player to boot.

Congrats. That is a great collection and great guy to collect. As a fellow Jays fan, I love seeing him pitch.

Thanks for the kind words everyone :)
Unfortunately Accardo was on the DL for most of last season, so there haven't been too many new additions to the collection recently. Of course the three new additions have been nice ones.

First off, his only 2009 release so far: 2009 UD Inkredible

Next, a nice pickup that completes a rainbow. I know I paid too much for this, but as I'm sure you other player collectors can understand - I just had to have it!

    And the rainbow:

And while it's not a card, still a great addition. Accardo's 2005 road gray San Francisco Giants game worn jersey.

I have one more card incoming, but I don't want to post it until it's in hand - don't want to jinx myself!!!

Now the Jays just need to recall him from AAA... I guess his 1.32 ERA is too gaudy to be called up to the big club...

    Thanks for the looks!
    -Pam
